Over the past month I've been working on some cover art for an Australian band called Boy & Bear. The band had some pretty quirky ideas and were really great to work with.
The above image was used for their single 'Southern Sun' which is available on itunes. This is only a small portion of the artwork I produced for them. The full album cover art will be posted as soon as the band releases it.

Its really beautiful and it perfectly matches the sublime and haunting quality of the band's music. What is the significance of animals dressed as cowboys? a comment on the untamed savagery of the frontier cowboy or something more whimsical?
